I mentioned the other day that there are little to no known pieces of evidence of the original
Bahariasaurus remains that Ernst Stromer brought back from Northern Africa to Germany. There is, however, a single image of Stromer standing next to a portion of the remains of
Bahariasaurus. The femur is appreciably large, considering the typical language and representations of
Bahariasaurus in illustrations. We can see, looking at the size comparison of the entire dinosaur, that the femur is actually a little larger than previous discussions may have implied.
